Episcura.com is the culmination of 3 years of hard work, hundreds of ideas pushed through the ringer, and thousands upon thousands of photos shot and edited.  

Myself and a few of my close friends and colleagues as well as one kick-ass web developer, Sergiu Baluta, started on this adventure to provide a better stock texture and HDR resource for digital artists.

Some key UI features of the site include a lightbox where users can create their own projects and add/download images.  The projects are also shareable which is great for working on a project in an office setting.  The lightbox features drag and drop for fast intuitive adding of images.  In the near future, Episcura will also feature it's own blog as well as user art contests, rewards system for referring friends to the site, and crowd-sourced photography.

Our journey is far from over as we will continue to expand our library every week.  As we grow and develop, we look forward to your feedback.  Like you, we want to spend less time searching and more time creating.

For Episcura's mobile site, we wanted to create a responsive design that would maintain the look, feel, and simplistic visual navigation of the desktop site, while still including the additional tactile capabilities of mobile browsing.

Story boards I created for an Office Max pitch.  Throw out your four leaf clover, and make your own luck.

These storyboards were created for a concept myself and my good friend Patrick McAvena came up with for a fully CG Audi R8 spot.  We collaborated on a script and then I drew up some initial storyboards.  I then handed those boards and script off to the extremely talented traditional artist and filmmaker Jeremy Rumas who created the final story boards you see below.  The final spot is still in production.

I worked on these frames for a pitch that a friend and I put together a couple years ago for a sports kinetic type piece. Though they weren't chosen for the final spot, I've always liked the style of the boards.  It was a a fun play on type with positive / negative space and interaction.
